About the Journal

The International Journal of Computer Science and Engineering (IJCSE) is currently accepting manuscripts for publication in English. The journal considers original research, reviews, and application-driven studies that have not been published previously nor submitted simultaneously elsewhere in any language.

The continuously increasing scientific relevance of the published articles and the improvement of the quality of digital publication is the main goal of our editorial policy.

IJCSE is a high-quality, open access, international, peer-reviewed online journal which aims to publish biannually. We welcome submissions related to all areas of Computer Science and Engineering, including but not limited to:

Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism

This journal has a policy of “Zero Tolerance on Plagiarism”. IJCSE follows recognized publication ethics standards. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, and unethical research practices are not tolerated. We check the plagiarism issue through two methods: reviewer check and plagiarism prevention tools. All submissions will be checked by plagiarism prevention software before being sent to reviewers.

Peer Review Process

The process of review is considered critical to establishing a reliable body of research and knowledge. The review process aims to make authors meet the standards of their discipline, and of science in general.

We use a double-blind system for peer-reviewing; both reviewers' and authors’ identities remain anonymous to each other. All submissions are first screened by the editors for scope, quality, and research ethics. Suitable manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least two independent experts. Editorial decisions are based on originality, technical soundness, clarity, and contribution to the field.

The editor will pass the manuscripts that are accepted for publication to the production team for copyediting and online publication.

Open Access & Copyright Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Readers can access article abstracts and full-text PDFs without a login.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License, allowing others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The publication of an article in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Computer Science and Engineering (IJCSE) is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them.

It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the authors, the journal editors, the peer reviewers, and the publisher. The ethics statements for our journal are based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Manuscript Withdrawal and Refund Policies

Authors can withdraw their manuscripts at any stage of submission, peer-reviewing, and copyediting procedures. However, if an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies, withdrawals once the copyediting process has started are not subject to a refund.
